The Rock Island Art Guild honors the memory of Stanley and Bernice Harris by establishing a program designed to offer financial support for visual arts programming in Rock Island/Milan elementary schools and to alternative schools that do not provide arts programming.
The Guild believes that this program is a most appropriate way to celebrate the lives of these two generous and dedicated people.
The Rock Island Art Guild will also consider proposals from other nonprofit organizations that have a focus on art programming for students and/or adults.
